The Nar Phu valley is a trek that combines remote villages of Nar and Phu, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, Monasteries, Kang La Pass and unique Himalayan cultures. You should have physically fitness to do this trek.This trek starts from Chamje after 9 hours driving from Kathmandu. We hike same trail as Annapurna circuit trek. After arriving to Kodo, we cross the bridge leading over the Marshyangdi River to the sudden portals of the Nar Phu valley is easily missed, but although the entrance is narrow and forested, the valley system above opens up to a huge expanse of high snow-peaks, ancient villages and high altitude grazing settlements. Trekkers until late 2003, very few westerners have explored these virtually untouched villages or climbed the many 7000m peaks surrounding it. We will venture into this remote region of Nar Phu valley. Buddhist pilgrims from around Nepal might accompany us up to Phu to visit the renowned Tashi Lhakhang Gompa and receive a blessing from Lama Karma Sonam Rimpoche. Along with spending plenty of time at these colorful and timeless villages, we explore the high alpine valleys above Phu. The Kang La (5315m) pass is amazing. We may enjoy mountains view like annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak. You will trek continue to Jomsom via Thorong La Pass Tea house or Lodge has been build. You can do camping trek as well as tea house trek. If you do tea house trekking, there is simple accommodation and foods are Nepalese dishes. Tea house trek is comparatively smallest amount.

Day 01: Arriving in Kathmandu (1350m).
Day 02: free day visitting kathmandu valley.
Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Besishahar or Chamje (1310 m) 9 hrs.
Day 04: Chamje trek to Dharapani (1920m), 6 hours
Day 05: Dharapani to Koto (2600m) 5 hrs
Day 06: Koto trek to Meta (3570m) 7-8 hrs .
Day 07: Meta trek to Upper Chyaku ( 3720 m) 3-4 hrs.
Day 08: Upper Chyaku trek to Phu Village (4050m) 4-5 hrs.
Day 09: Phu Village trek to Nar Phedi (3500m) 6-7 hrs.
Day 10: Nar Phedi trek to Nar Village (4120m) 3-4 hrs.
Day 11: Visit 4 Monasteries in Nar Village.
Day 12: Nar trek to Kang La Pass (5320m) Ngawal (3675m) 8-9 hrs.
Day 13: Ngawal trek to manang (3,540m) 5hrs.
Day 14: Manang to yak kharka (4090m) 4/5hrs.
Day 15: yak kharka to Throng Height Camp (5,416m) 5/6hrs.
Day 16: Throng Height Camptrek to muktinath via Thorong La (5,416m)
Day 17: Mukthiath to Jomosom (2715m) 6 hrs.
Day 18: Jomosom to Fly Pokhara.
day 19: Leaving Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus, return in same Hotel.
day 20: Transfer to airport 3h before your plane departure. |
